The End is Dead. Long Live The End.

Without so much as a word to the listeners, Citadel Broadcasting pulled the plug on the local alternative station, 101.9 The End, firing all the on-air people and turning it into an iPod with commercials. And no skip feature.

Among other things, they killed off a morning show I have been listening to since 1996. (Yes, I am that old.)

So long, Chunga and Cort. Thanks; it was fun while it lasted.

As for you, Citadel - I have an iPod, thanks. Guess I'll go elsewhere.
